Preparation- There was material already outlined for the teacher to present. The powerpoint was well versed and and gave examples that related to them which is always great to get them engaged. I thought the powerpoint was a little plain but I understand the students are older.
Content- The content for the children was well explained. The poster was a great idea for them to express their understanding what is a fact and a opinion.
Individualized Needs- I cant recall what were the accomodations for the children.
Assesment- The assesment at the end was great. It was a worksheet and the poster will let the teacher know the understanding of the children.
Your assesment was really good as well as your material presented. I really like the way you were keeping student's attention by asking to participate. You were well prepared with the materials students were going to be using for their project.
You were very prepared for the lesson. It was very fun and you seemed to take an interest in feedback. The content was fun, and I learned a lot about fact vs. opinion. Individual needs: There could have been more accomodations for children with indy needs. Assessment: The assessment was perfect, not too hard not too easy 10 of 10
1. Preparation- The teacher was very well prepared for the lesson and I could tell that he was excited to teach the material.
2. Content- I think that the content was very well focused and actually, I learned a great deal more about fact vs. opinion than I think I ever knew!
3. Individual Needs- I think this is a hard category to assess, because we are adults and not children. I think that the poster was an awesome tool, maybe the same thing could have been done, but the students could have chosen various methods to present their fact vs. opinion material to accommodate for their needs.
4. Assessment- I loved the assessment. Like I said above, depending on what student's you have in your classroom, you may need to accommodate, but I think for us it was great. I loved that you gave us the option of choosing our topic to do fact vs. opinion. Overall, awesome job!
I truly enjoyed your lesson! I think it was a lesson that could have been boring but you made it interesting. You were very well prepared and kept the students engaged. I loved the way you used examples that the students could relate to. I think the way you presented the lesson allowed you to meet any individual needs that might arise. The way you presented the lesson even taught me something. I don't think we as adults knew that much about facts and opinions. I thought the poster was a very good idea that allowed the students to present what they learned from the lesson. Overall great lesson! :)
You did really well. You were well prepared and had easy to understand explinations for each step of the problem. I like how you did your presentations and I think that the students will be able to understand the concept well when you teach it.
I think your lesson was very good but I think for the age you were doing you could have made it a little more challenging or in depth. The presentation of material was awesome and age appropriate. The way you spoke to the class also, keeping us involved and asking questions a great way to keep the classroom learning. Your preparedness was obvious, you did not stutter or fumble, and your assessment was appropriate but that is where I think they might have needed more of a challenge. Good Job though Marcos!
